Our Story

Growing up I always had a desire to help and support friends, family and anyone who wanted it (you could say I was a bit of a people pleaser!) As the time went on, I saw I was wanting to help look after children. So when it became time to choose a career I decided I wanted to choose something I would want to wake up in the morning and be excited to do as well as something I could put all my passion into. Childcare became an obvious choice!

A few years later, I noticed some areas where there was a lack of support for families, especially when families can feel overwhelmed by all the differing advice. There is so much out there but what is the right advice? What if you don’t want to leave your child to cry all night? What other options do I have? Or even as simple as how do I look into different types of childcare?

My passion and focus then started to be geared towards wanting to support parents with their next steps, goals and any issue, to help support a stress free and happy environment for the whole family. This is where Next steps together was born.
